Washington D.C. - Candid Portraiture

With the Capitol under construction and braced with scaffolding, this portrait of the city and its citizens show an interesting view of society. Not even seven years ago, and yet it feels like a lifetime of social turbulence, political strife, and natural disasters. These images show certain insensitivities we might have had in the past for each other, and curious juxtapositions of society class.
