Peeler Park- May 2020
With a steady rain and plenty of sun, the local park in the bend of the Cumberland bursts with life. Turkey and deer graze the placid fields, while the trees are dispersed with darting Cardinals and bluebirds.
Blackberries flowering along the paths, the sound of the tree line hums with activity. A steady breeze meanders along the lowland, and the air is almost void of highways and motor vehicles except the routinely passing airliners.
I revel in the subtle charm of my backyard landscapes, and the chance I get to enjoy this place with such solitude. It is so welcoming before the heat and dryness of the summer, and hard not to photograph and share.
