Geometries in Print: Digital to Analog

Updated: Nov 18, 2021

Geometry in Digital Space

Computer generated forms can have a distinct quality to them often thought of as lifeless, but that doesn't mean they can't be beautiful forms. Something about presenting them on paper gives the software-made images a livelihood and tangibility.

Whether following mathematical calculations or coordinates on a grid, the pixels of these images are able to imitate forms in space and light. Sometimes digital forms do not need to represent so much as simply present themselves.

The combination of digital and analog is a recurring interest of mine. Presenting them together is an attempt to blur the lines in a world of transition from material to computerized existence.
