The great expanse of space is an intimidating one. It also brings fathoms of inspiration. In a world of science, much of existence is explained in technical terms and data... but the grandiose experiences we witness in life are not adequate to describe the reality of it.
We often turn to art and illustration to inspire or help visualize the abstract world of science. While some historical accuracy is lost in the canonizing of our human story in art, the artistic expression is necessary for us to understand its abstract and hard-to-relate concepts.
