AURAL ANTHROPOLOGY
The art of music is a subjective expression, one that invites story-telling and abstract sound to elicit an emotion. With seven musical notes, infinite compilations of sound can explore the human condition in ways that often escape description in words. Sometimes visual accompaniment is a more effective way to describe a mood or quality of sound, and artwork that synchronizes with the music can help deliver a more in-depth impact.
The tendency for music to be released with album artwork or music videos shows the power that music has to inspire other modes of art, and it's ability to adapt those visuals to develop the overall impression or tone. Not only does the collaboration encourage new creation, but also supports others such as artists through the opportunity and challenge of cooperation and new sources of inspiration.

EP COMMISSION
This collage was commission for a rap/hip-hop artist Shvdowboy based out of Nashville and was inspired by a new track. It uses imagery taken from printed media that is collaged into an amalgamation of patterns and forms that accent the dominant profile. Forms like sound waves are incorporated into the structure of the collage and detailed textures compliment the dark monochromatic colors with bright accents such as gold.
