Charred Surfaces: Texture Study

GRAIN OF FIRE

Charcoal black residue reveals past lightning strikes in the slopes of Mount Charleston. The charred remains are exposed, showing the scars of fire damage that contrast with the swirling grains of unburnt wood. The textured surfaces of these trees reveal the conflict they endured as the were scorched, yet they stand unwavering and determined to hold their structure.
