The forms of fungi and mushrooms are both familiar yet alien. We as humans have little in common with mushrooms physically, yet they resemble skin and flesh. What are the commonalities in mushrooms that seem so appealing in photography?
A pervasive symbol and theme of my art, I enjoy revealing the otherness of lifeforms not our own such as fungi. In this post hope to pay a bit of homage to their delicate and temporary forms, that which is not much unlike our own aging bodies.
