Using natural geometries found in the textures and patterns of vegetation and plants. Photographs were taken in Washington D.C.'s Botanical Garden.
Each image was duplicated into repeating patterns, with the goal to focus on the way those patterns suggest conical and spherical forms.
This project deviates from most of my vandyke brown printing in that the negatives made for them were significantly edited in Adobe Photoshop, but essential to their aesthetic as a repeating pattern.
