Portfolio 2.0: Brief Introduction

I'm super excited to share with you guys the next upgrades to my artist website. While this is only the beginning for what I have planned, I wanted to formally announce my new and extended Portfolio.

New Look

Inspired by the formation of leaves along a growing vine, each overlapping preview of artwork leads to a different category of relevant works. Instead of simple gallery blocks showing examples of my most recent works, I wanted the artworks to peak behind the face of the web pages, and for the previews to look embedded and at home on the portfolio page.

The forms are a familiar and personal droplet symbol, but one now used as a portal to my other artworks.

Separate Galleries

With new links, each preview on the main Portfolio Page leads to a new private view of that gallery. Each gallery is a personally selected summary of a category of artwork I have been engaged in for the past few years.

By splitting each category of artwork onto each page, the individual galleries can be extended and be more significant without overburdening the portfolio page with too much content at once.

Each gallery attempts to show a variety of artworks that shares similar technical process and often shares similar trains of thought. Feel free to explore the different tabs found in the main menu bar or at the bottom of each gallery page.
