The Lesson

Sheltered in a casing, enamel of social rules,

We are meant to be something, each are given tools,

To use and learn by,

And in Time,

Carry within and unto schools.

Skill and thought must both be taught, but the Pupil must also offer,

Their Attention and Love, to all that's not known,

And hope one day to overcome, not falter.

------------------------------------

In schools they instruct, and of what is taught,

Concerns them only of What,

School isn't to teach things, but to open the mind,

How to think, not of what Is and What is Not.

Not of learned dates and lessons, but of learning to learn for your Self,

Using the tools and skills, to revel in the fields of knowledge,

And nurture the mind and internal health.

------------------------------------

Bring together what is apart,

And forget looking at the start,

For the cycle is constant and never-ending.

Be aware of the Patterns,

Of existence,

By watching and learning, in complete Absorption,

And you can navigate the flow of eternity.
